Unity Food Products (Pty) Ltd was established in 2002 and has a proud tradition of producing high-quality, pure sunflower cooking oil and margarines that continue to make its way into South African homes.
Our mission is to curate products that will have a unique offering for every South African and to promote a more balanced lifestyle. Our products have become household names that are trusted and loved.
Stemming from the roots of Unity Food Products are their much-loved brands. At the top of the list is the well-known Helios 100% sunflower oil, a staple in many South African kitchen. Products also include Helios, Ruby and Golden Lite margarines. PalmFry and Cresta for bulk ordering and baking.
Unity Food Products has always been able to offer customers premium brands with excellent value and quality at an affordable price, which has become a hallmark of our on-going desire to innovate and provide the best for South Africa.

Inspiration
In Kwa-Zulu Natal, many women take part in weaving of grass mats, baskets and other items. It’s a traditional and well-known skill in the province and forms part of our Kwa-Zulu roots, our heritage. Our brand identity geometric pattern was designed to pay tribute to this.
